Bigger and More Impactful Project: Open a technical school to benefit the younger generation

A few months back, we shared a desire to help the students of Sanoix in a more practical and realistic way. They say, 'the youth are the leaders of tomorrow’ (Timoun yo sé yo kap vin lidè péyi a demen). We want to create avenues that would equip them with the necessary skills and provide them an opportunity to shape their own future which is the core mission of Erzulia Love-Hope Mission Inc. As such, the board has decided to invest on a project to build a technical school that can offer different technical programs for the young people to learn a craft of their choice. This project will consist of different phases with Phase I to begin tentatively in September 2023 on a small scale with two programs being offered—one for girls and one for boys.

Enlist the assistance from one of the local members of the community

We have connected with one of the local professionals, an educator in the community, who will work alongside the team to help strategically the project. He has been engaging with the youth and the community leaders. He already met with them to discuss the project, getting feedback about their interests and ways they can collaborate with us to accomplish the goals.

Get the community involved in the process

As part of our planning phase, we have obtained full support from the community leaders to collaborate with us to create a better opportunity for the youth of Sanoix.
